Getting a real psychic reading can actually be very elusive. A common dictionary meaning of divination is “the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means,” with very accurate results–and this too depending on the skill and level of psychic ability.

So whether a psychic is able to divine the past, present or future with or without tools should not be a concern. What should be a concern is whether or not you are dealing with an authentic and ethical intuitive in the first place. Don't fool yourself. There are people who have genuine psychic ability who have no scruples and will tell you things just to get you in their control and rob you of all your money. Do not think that a gifted person is necessarily, by virtue of having a spiritual gift, from the divine or have blessed origins, or hold themselves to a high standard. You must be very discerning and not so trusting unless you have been referred by someone who has had a truly valuable and verifiable experience.

Psychics Are Telling Me Different Things — The Devil Is In the Details.

Now this brings me to why psychics say different things. You probably could see where I was going with this. Remember, I mentioned above that there are all types of psychics who have varying levels of psychic ability and methods.

Actually, psychics can say the same things which may give you a secure feeling that what they are saying must be accurate because they are all saying the same thing. Wrong. Then, you have psychics who will tell you different things. Who is right, who is wrong? This can be most confusing. And, in fact, you actually just end up being more confused then when you set out to get clarity by calling a psychic.

I have found, being a professional and authentic psychic counselor, that when, for example you call a psychic network where there are hundreds or thousands of readers, you found them all saying basically the same thing. Basically, it is the broad picture that is very similar. The details will vary greatly. The reason that you will hear the same thing over and over again is because you have encountered a scripted type of reading. Not a reading that is authentic in nature. By scripted, I mean that they have certain responses that they have familiarized themselves with based on what you are asking. You may not be aware that psychic hotlines use to be how most people got their psychic advice. These psychics were provided with scripts, manuals, handbooks. Literal scripts for what they would say about every aspect of life you can imagine. Thousands memorized these scripts and made it their own. So each fake, unreal psychic you call will give you a reading that is a variation on a familiar theme. There is nothing less then an arsenal of these types of psychic readers out there, just waiting for you to call so they can confuse you. You will hear the same thing over and over because in cases where there are hundreds or thousands of so-called psychics, it will be very, very difficult to find a real psychic. The script is one where they tell you exactly what you are eager to hear. That the person you are calling about loves you, or you will get married one day, or you are soul mates. It's just a matter of time. This is the broad picture. They cannot provide you with real details because a) they do not know the details and have no way of knowing, and b) you are likely to be filling in the details yourself.

I Called a Psychic For Clarity, Why Am I So Confused?

If you call a number of psychics and they are saying different things, the different things are now in the details. You are calling one after another now to see if one verifies the other. This is where you will get so confused by your psychic reading. The broad picture is the same but the details are all different. You see in the scripted reading, the psychic reader is telling you what you want to hear not what you need to hear. In an authentic, real psychic reading, the psychic intuitive is accessing information on a spiritual level. People seem to forget this. Through a real psychic, you are getting guided information originating from higher consciousness. In these cases, you will be hearing what is necessary for you to know to go forward in a balanced way to acheive balanced solutions in your life. You will find yourself asking psychics questions they will not have the answers for but they will be happy to provide you false answers. The details they can only fabricate. That's why they say different things. This is where having a realistic viewpoint of what to expect from a real psychic reading to begin with will provide you with a much more valuable experience. You have to have the correct mindset to receive higher guidance. When you have a scripted reading, what you are experiencing is fortune telling–an “entertainment” form of psychic reading that is so prevalent and which dominants the psychic industry today. Far from real, but this is the common practice among many networks and groups. The psychic gypsy scam is a fake reading taken to a whole other level. This scheme is intended for the sole purpose of conning you out of every single dime they can get from you, often times until you have nothing left.

Telling the Future — An Uncommon Gift.

The work you do with a real psychic has more to do with revealing information about yourself and the path you are on with regard to your questions involving others. A real psychic can feel and see a person's thoughts or feelings; they can divine the future based on the energy levels identified at the time of the reading. I have found it rare when an “assumed” psychic can accurately tell the future. This is not a common gift. They cannot guarantee your future with another. It is easy to get caught up in the lie from a fake psychic and start believing in a false idea which will take you on an odyssey that will leave you disillusioned and confused beyond belief. Given the avalanche of various functions and proposed various many devices, I had been a little confused at first. For some functions (or many) I was wondering what I could with them.

The purchase of a handheld was dictated to me by a real need for organization and planning, because I'm pretty bad at that. So I needed basic functions of these small devices, functions that were the basis for the creation of this category of material, but find themselves increasingly drowned amidst many others. That fact that for some devices, one wonders sometimes whether the functions of agenda, timetable and so do not pass in the background!

I am therefore seeking a simple and effective device for these tasks organization and with few other options do I care about but I do not completely fill are unnecessary. After trying for some time the pocket PC of a colleague, I soon realized that the program was not to my satisfaction. So I naturally turned to Palm, which I heard was boasting of its simplicity and efficiency. And today I can confirm this is indeed the case!

I am completely won over by this machine. We must also see that Windows Mobile, by its resemblance to a Windows desktop, attracts many users, who see the Palms as inefficient and completely outdated. Palm has been leaving this philosophy of simplicity and efficiency, to bring in more Pocket PC customers. In my case, therefore I don't want the high-end, super large screens, communication, etc. I do not watch films and I will not use the Internet with the device, if this is much more convenient for you then go ahead and get a fancy machine.

My choice was therefore focused on a machine capable of doing the minimum, reading a few MP3's and the opportunity to use a GPS. The TE2 has shown with its performance to be the correct choice and sufficient for my needs. The screen is of very good quality and large enough for me. The price is low allowing me to add accessories. I have added a Case and a 1GB SD card.

In practice, I do not regret my choice; the device is reliable and fast (only the GPS makes it feel a little pain sometimes), use simple, straightforward and simply effective. Even synchronization with the PC seems easier than a Pocket PC! There is also a phenomenal amount of freeware to meet most needs.

In summary, a machine that it does what you want with brilliance and speed, without unnecessary programs with a very simple and very intuitive interface (I never opened the package insert). The price is great since it is not high end but makes it easier for people who may not otherwise get these kinds of products.

Have you ever had a Tarot reading?

I have had a Tarot reading on several occasions. I was shunned by many friends who found out about this, calling a Tarot read, that of the Devil.

But I couldn't help but be curious, so much so- that I went out and bought my own deck and book. I read it from cover to cover, and then researched it more, both on-line and at the library.

Religious guru's say that if the Lord wanted you to know the future, He would tell you, or He would give you the “insight” to see it for yourself.

I ended up with several books, and then started “reading” my friends and family. I ended up being scaringly accurate.

But the weird thing, is whenever “anyone” reads mine, they are 90% wrong, each and every time. And I even gave the reader a heads up on things that were supposed to happen, and what not. For that matter, I went pregnant with my third son, and the reader told me it would finally be my girl. Ta-da-It wasn't, I had another boy!

In order to give a reading, a person needs to know a few things about you. If you are married, involved, how many children, if any. What kind of job you have, and your goals. Then you can of course ask a specific question, and ask the reader to focus only on that. The thing is, to be honest. Lying will only make your reading majorly inaccurate, and the only one you will be able to blame- is yourself.

Within the deck of tarot cards, there are several cards that freak people out, namely: death. Another is the Hanged man, and then sometimes the Fool card seems to concern people.

The deck itself consists of 78 cards. Each card has a unique meaning. But that meaning has to work with your reading, and what it is you want or need to know. Let us say for instance you want to know if you will live to be eighty. When you ask this you are 40. The readers lays down cards such as the fool and death, that right there, basically answers your question without any further adieu. Plain and simple. But if you are shown the 2 of cups and the seven of swords, amongst a few other cards, you of course will need an explanation. Hopefully your reader, will be able to assist you, to which I am certain they will be able to.

The Tarot has been around for thousands of years. Some people use it in carnivals for entertainment, their goal is to only make money. Others use it to help one another. Sometimes it can be a scam, and other times it can be the real thing.

If you go to a person and they give you Tarot readings, usually you can tell a phony right off, by their actions. But sometimes, you just might not be certain.

How accurate are Tarot readings? It depends on the reader. Most of the time, I would justify the correct answer to this as: it varies. Again this falls back on you, as well as the reader.

The choice is yours.

However, as with anything, do not put a halt to your plans, or drastically change your life because of a Tarot read. There are no guarantee, only God knows what He has planned for you.

Tarot is basically meant for fun and entertainment. Both for you, and the reader. Even the reader knows they have a good chance on being wrong, and will warn you of this, if they are open and honest.

Because I can and do Tarot readings, does not make me any less of a Christian or person. I am not telling you, or anyone else for that matter- to make changes to their lives, to stop their beliefs, and I definitely am not telling anyone to do this and do that. I do it for fun, I do not charge, and I just do it to see how accurate I am, and I am having fun while doing it. I am not harming a soul. I am not forcing my beliefs or choices on you, or anyone else.

A tarot reading is something you can choose to have done, or not. After having a reading done, rather then judging from the get go, and being skeptical- in a few weeks, go have another. From a different reader. It isn't scary, and it is educational, in its own way. Don't be afraid. No one says you have to go back after that, if it makes you uncomfortable, then don't do it again. No one “should” be judging you.

People that go around pointing fingers and judging, and calling one another non-Christians because they want to learn, and grow- need THEIR head examined. The Devil does not guide the hands of the Tarot reader, unless THAT Tarot reader is a non-Christian who forces their non-Christian beliefs on you. Not everything people choose to do, and choose to believe, is the Devils work. Stop being hypocritical, and focus on your own skeletons before attacking others!

The art of palmistry, or palm reading, dates back to 1100 B.C. It is the art of interpreting the lines, marks and spacing on a person's hand. There are four basic lines on a hand; the life line, the head line, the heart line and the fate line.

The length of the life line is sometimes said to tell the length of a person's life. This is not always the case. For example, a short, deep life line shows physical energy and vitality. A person with a short deep life line is likely to live a long life.

Another way to read a life line is to read the line. If the line stops and then continues beside or below the stopping point, this is called a break. A break in the life line shows a major change. This change could be anything from an illness to marriage and can span over the course of months.

If the life line splits off and meets again, this is called an island (picture an island in the line). An island represents a division of energy and can weaken the line. It is generally linked to a mental or emotional period of indecisiveness or powerful external pressure.

If there are fine lines running off of your life line, this represents energy being dispersed. It means that there is a lack of concentration of energy and, as a result, your energies are being scattered rather than channeled.

If there is a line running parallel to your life line, this represents inner strength during a difficult time or a time of change. Where the line runs parallel to a strong life line shows a powerful, constructive period.

The heart line can be read in different ways, as well. If your heart line ends between you index and middle finger, which is most common, you have a healthy balance of sensitivity and practicality. If you heart line end under your middle finger, it represents physically expressed emotions. You are more likely to be emotionally cautious and have a high level of sensuality. If your heart line ends under your index finger it shows highly developed emotions.

If your heart line curves it shows sensitivity, while a straight heart line shows directness of expression. If it is strongly drawn it shows emotional energy, while one that is lightly drawn shows lack of emotional energy and instability.

The head line represents intellect, logic and reasoning. If your head starts above your life line it shows that you are independent. However, the closer the head line gets to the index finger, the more this independence becomes arrogance. If your head line starts with your lifeline, which is most common, it shows a degree of cautiousness and a strong family influence. If your head line starts inside of your life line, in other words crosses over your life line, it shows that you are over cautious and may rely on other people.

If your head line is straight it shows a lack of imagination and creativity. If your head line is an upside-down arc, it shows a loss of contact with reality, you are someone who is more interested is a subjective life.

If your head line is deep and clearly drawn it shows that you have good energy flow, strong values and high mental ability and clarity; whereas if it is lightly drawn it represents a fluctuation in attitude and in your thought processes. If it is long, it shows that you are someone who sees all sides to an argument, but find yourself indecisive at decision-making time. If it is short you are hasty, but also reasonable and practical in decision-making.

The fate line represents stability and balance, as well as drive and direction. If your fate line moves toward your index finger, it means you are a very powerful person who will not give up easily on your ambitions. If it moves toward your middle finger, it means that you are a more conventional person. If it moves toward your ring finger, it shows that you express yourself creatively and artistically. If your fate line moves toward you pinkie finger it shows that you are attracted to communication, the media and feel that you need to be socially acknowledged.

If your fate line is thick and well drawn it represents that you have great force and motivation. However, if it is lightly drawn it shows that you are laid back, with less idealistic direction. If your fate line is broken, it represents a major change in your direction and balance.

If it appears that you have no fate line, it indicates that you are unpredictable and that you dislike routine. If it appears that you have more than one fate line it represents two directions, showing different facets of your personality.

If your fate line stops halfway up your palm, it could mean that the early part of your life was planned out; your later life, not so planned out. If it stops at your heart line, it represents a restriction to the life direction you want to take by your fears and loves. This could also represent a sacrifice for a relationship. If it stops at your head line, it shows possibility for restricting your own ideas ad thought process.

Although palmistry was very popular in 1100 B.C., it is not taken very seriously today. Palm reading is never guaranteed accurate.

Tarot cards are an excellent tool to increase your psychic abilities. This article will tell you how to increase your psychic abilities in a way that will keep you accurate. You may be able to read Tarot cards miraculously well if you go by these simple guidelines and practice regularly. Our inherent human powers of perception of reality are far beyond what we are normally taught that they are. Let’s push the limits and leave those who believe the mass media version of who we are behind. Being able to read Tarot cards and really show yourself you know what they are is a great way to affirm that you have abilities to see beyond the tangible world. The more confident you become in your psychic abilities, the more you will be able to bring through wisdom. And you can keep tabs on your accuracy regularly by practicing with them.

The concept behind using Tarot cards for readings is that part of ourselves knows what each card is. There are two main methods of picking cards. One relies on the overmind to shuffle the cards correctly so the ones on top, as they will be picked for a spread, will be the correct ones to answer the questions. That means the moment in which a person is shuffling is sacred, and you must be tuned in completely at that moment to be able to pull off such a feat. Often, it is the person receiving the reading who is expected to do this, and without practice, this may be asking too much of a client. Tarot readers may need to explain to people how to tune in, go into a trance, connect with the over-self. People should be prepared to feel out what is the right arrangement through shuffling, and actually create what is the proper arrangement, their hands doing the work of the larger self, without the conscious mind being involved. But the more we can make the conscious mind a good conduit between the two, pure, and well refined, the more we can trust our answers. The practice I describe in this article helps make sure the conscious mind is truly transparent, and tuned into the higher self, and bringing that knowledge through effectively.

The other method of reading Tarot cards involves carefully choosing each card out of the deck, one at a time, to answer the questions. This is easier to accomplish, as it is more direct, and you can feel the cards’ energy. It can be more casual, not necessarily based on a layout. I am going to concentrate on this method. It becomes a dialogue between you and the cards as you receive immediate answers and you can then ask another question, and tune into the cards, feeling which one calls to you. You may use this also if you are having a reading done, and the psychic tells you to pick the cards. In either case, it is good to know what you are doing, as you may be putting a lot of weight on answers, and you don’t want them to be random. You want them to come from your highest self, filtered down through your psychic abilities to feel or see which card is the one with your answer. You can feel the card by holding your hand over the deck, preferably your left one, as it is the more receptive, sensitive to incoming energies. Feel with your palm, or your fingers, moving your hand across the cards without touching them, feeling their aura. You can feel the aura. You will be able to identify it because of spending time identifying with each card.

First, to train yourself, it is good to do exercises that improve psychic powers. Breathing in and out of the third eye chakra, in the center of the forehead, is one good practice. Ask that the energy you bring into your intuitive center be focused for that purpose. You may want to imagine the light you breathe in being indigo colored. Then, use the cards to test how you are improving. You can release clutter out of the third eye chakra, breathing it out, and asking for clarity to be brought to you. Open to a pure observance of being, releasing your own personal issues. You want to be able to perceive reality, not your own filters.

Doing Taoist or Tantric exercises will take the third eye exercise much farther, with complex movements of energies. The more you commit to doing these very physical spiritual practices, the more you will cleanse the pathways of perception, open them for more energy to come through, be able to feel the joys of the energy moving through your pathways, and concentrating that energy in the central channel of your body, through the spine. As you do that, you can become the central channel, which can merge with the spine of the Divine, the tree of life. In Eastern traditions, we are able to commune with God through the practices, rather than remain apart. We are able to tune into that which connects all things. As you feel yourself being the central channel, you can also feel yourself as the energy moving through the channel. Feeling such combinations of movement and containment of energy is the divine love play of Shakti and Shiva, the god and goddess principles. As you feel yourself be the container and the contained, you can feel Bliss, and an overpowering sense of Ecstasy as you participate in their love. Feeling that will naturally increase your psychic abilities. Your frequency is being changed.

Shuffle the cards and lay them face down. Then, to test the theory that we know what the cards are, pick up one at a time and guess first what it is. Keep a record of how many correct guesses you get each day you do it, and see if your odds improve. You are using a psychic muscle, so by doing so regularly, you should see a gratifying rise in the number of correct answers. I have been able to do this with 100 percent accuracy. So I know it is possible.

How did I do it? I dedicated my life to this activity for a few months. I lived in the forest in a tent in a mountain in Colorado, and allowed myself nothing but a Tarot book with exercises, pen, paper, and a few toiletries. I climbed mountains, picked berries, which were my only food, did Tantric and Taoist exercises, which cleared my energetic channels, and amplified how much energy they could hold, cleaned the energy, made it vibrate at a higher frequency, connected my charkas, broke down blockages, and allowed clear access to my higher self. Eating nothing but living food picked right off the bushes gave me the auric fields of the berries, with their enzymes intact, requiring me to give up none of my own inherent enzymes. Breathing fresh, clean air with lots of life force and negative ions helped. Drinking crystalline water from the melted snow helped. Being away from electromagnetic interferences helped my own auric field be nice and large, and clear, and also kept the static out of my psychic readings. Having no other distractions kept my larger self focused on its goal. Of course, few people can do this, or would want to, but some version of this is highly recommended if you want to be truly psychic.

Immersing yourself in the deepest meanings and the magic and symbolism behind the Tarot is important if you are to concentrate your psychic readings on the Tarot. To use them as tools for developing your general psychic abilities in general you may not need to delve as deeply into writers such as Crowly, who use the Tarot cards for dubious but effective methods of transmitting clues about such things as time travel through the etheric planes. You would still want to get a good emotional identification with each Tarot card, however, as it is not only a visual, but a visceral, palpable reaction we feel when picking up a card and feeling what is on the other side.

Practice using them and also feeling what is on the other side of them, and test your accuracy by asking questions about things you can verify. You may want to ask about will happen the next day, or about details about friends’ lives you can ask them about. The possibilities are endless.

The more you are able to go into a lower brain wave frequency, the Alpha level, the more you will be tuned into all that is one, flowing together, our consciousness, and the world around us. There are biofeedback machines available for this, and you can also tell if you are in Alpha brainwave generally by whether your eyes flutter when they are closed. Being in that frequency helps you be one with all things, and identifying with your larger self, which knows all.

Recently, I purchased a set of Tarot cards from a second-hand book store. I knew a bit about Tarot readings, but it had been a while since I'd conducted one. I went online in search of various Tarot spreads and card meanings. After a couple of days' worth of studying, I decided to start doing readings for friends and acquaintances. Sharing my experience is part of the fun, and hopefully this will help someone out there enjoy the power of Tarot Card Readings!

Where to begin:

When you first purchase your deck of cards, spread them all out on a table or the floor to shuffle them up. Gather them together and re-shuffle with your hands, like you would an ordinary set of playing cards. (It's best to not use a card shuffler since the whole goal here is to “season” your cards by touching them. The more you use your cards, the more attached and familiar you will begin to feel with the deck. This will tone your psychic abilities and give you more powerful readings.

Next, choose a Tarot Card Spread, which will tell you the pattern in which to lay out your cards. These range from a very basic 3-card spread to a much more involved 32 card spread. My favorite is the Celtic Cross spread, which involves 10 cards. This is the one I will reference in this “How To” review.

Now, have the person whose cards you are reading relax and focus on their question or problem. Give them a few minutes to do so – they may request that you leave the room, or they may want to listen to music. Do whatever will help them clear their minds and relax.

When they are ready, have them state their question or concern briefly to you. Have them shuffle the deck themselves a few times, until they are ready to choose their cards. Some people like to pull random cards from the deck, others like to cut the deck and deal in order from the top. You can use either method you'd like. Personally I've found the readings to be more accurate when the cards are randomly chosen from the deck.

As the cards are pulled, have the person lay them down on the table in the order of the spread you've selected (see picture for reference). Once all of the cards are laid out on the table, you can begin the reading. Here is a brief overview of the card meanings, as related to the picture “Celtic Cross 10 Card Spread”.
Card 1 = Central Issue or Present
Card 2 = Problems/obstacles
Card 3 = Root of the issue
Card 4 = The Past
Card 5 = Best that can come of situation
Card 6 = Near Future

Card 8 = Others & how they effect situation
Card 9 = Your hopes & fears
Card 10 = Probable Outcome

Flip the first card over – being careful to not flip it onto it's reverse side upside-down. Reversed cards hold different & important meaning, so you don't want to cause a card to be reversed when it originally wasn't. Read & interpret the cards one at a time. Your deck of cards probably came with a small booklet that gives a brief description of what each card means. When interpreting the meaning of the cards, tune in to the person's question, and relate the meaning of the card at hand to their individual situation. Here's a brief example:

Yesterday, I did a fast reading for an expectant mother, and used the 10 card Celtic Cross Spread. She had no specific question, just wanted an analysis of her current situation in life. It was a pretty amazing and spooky reading! I was shocked when I turned over the very first card in the “present” position. It was the Empress card, depicting a picture of a pregnant empress! Sometimes, the meaning of the cards is not quite so literal. Here is what Aeclectic Tarot has to say about this card:

“The Empress Card is one of the easier trumps to read. She is Mother. Generally, Mother in a good sense – patient, loving, giving, generous.” The mother whose reading I was generating was not much of a believer until after seeing this card. She (and I as well) was amazed at the accuracy of her cards. The rest of her reading went on to reveal the need for patience, keeping in good health, and growing within the love of her family. She has a very close-knit family, and her cards explained that her life is full of support from them.

I also did a reading for a girl whom I am friends with. She had questions about romance and love. I did a 5 card spread for her, which revealed three upside-down cards. The entire reading warned her that selfish, egotistical, juvenile and closed-minded behavior is impeding her love life as well as her life in general. It advised her to take control of her life, or otherwise remain “trapped” in her present dilemma. Seeing as how I know this person, I was very easily able to relate the cards to her situation. She is currently in a household where her every move is watched and she is unable to live freely.

When a card is upside-down, it usually has the reversed meaning. For example, her “Present” card was the reversed Devil, which warns of entrapment or imprisonment – a symbol of her current situation.

Card 4 = Reason for situation
Card 5 = Potential Outcome/Solution

So you want to get a quick and easy tarot reading and you don’t want to spend the $20-$150 to see a tarot reader. You go online and you type in a “free tarot readings” or something similar. A whole list of sites comes up and you get excited because you have a host of places to choose from, and—the best part is—they are free! Before you jump up and down about your fabulous find, there are a few things you should know about doing automated readings online.

The CONS:

1. You get what you pay for. That’s right: You get what you pay for! A free tarot reading generated by a machine may be objective, but it is not intuitive. It will never have the true subtlety and intuition of a live human being. There are readers who study tarot for 20 years and still strive to learn more because the tarot is a process and not a quick fix. So while you may not want to fork over the money for a live tarot reading, you might get a lot more insight and specific information by doing so (though it must be said that the quality of a reader and a reading varies greatly depending upon who is asking the question and who is answering and what mood you’re both in that day).

2. Many sites will minimize free offerings to get you to buy something. I’ve seen sites that will only give you a partial spread so that you are encouraged to pay for the whole reading. Other sites will only give you so many free online tarot readings or they may give you a few minutes free with a live psychic reader then try to get you to spend money on a long reading. Not every site is this way, but it pays to know which are and which will allow you unlimited free readings.

3. Your answers cannot be specific. If you want to know what man you are going to marry or if you are asking about the features of your new house or when you’ll get your promotion, an automated reading is unlikely to give you the fullest answers. A psychic tarot reader can use any card and twist and turn it over in her mind to see how the card applies to you with sometimes amazing results. She may look at one tiny symbol on a card and see that it relates exactly to the short, red-haired stranger that you are going to meet while traveling. Automated tarot readings are cookie-cutter print-outs of standardized descriptions which may or may not apply to you. Often you have to think about the online interpretation for a few minutes before you understand how it relates to your question. There is a lot more guesswork involved than in a live reading.

4. It’s easy to become addicted and keep asking the same question over and over because you didn’t understand or like the first reading’s results. You read the computerized interpretation, scratched your head and said, “Huh?” Or, maybe you saw the Death card or The Devil and you freaked out because you didn’t have someone there to explain to you what the card means. At other times, you’re just neurotic and you want to hear that you are going to date the “hottie” that you’ve been flirting with at the gym or at work. You didn’t like seeing the 3 of Swords card with its daggers poking through a bright red heart. You do another online tarot reading. Then you do another until you hear something you want to hear. This is not helpful and can actually be dangerous in some cases. At best, you are either confused or you are in denial. An automated tarot reading is not helping you in either case.

Free online readings can definitely be helpful if you are a beginner and you want to learn a little bit about tarot spreads but they can’t give you the full experience that you will get from a live reader. Use the readings to get quick answers to your questions or when you are on a tight budget, but always keep in mind what the limitations are.
